ILM have created two new qualifications mapped directly to the new apprenticeships standards:
This qualification is designed for new and aspiring team leaders. It gives an in-depth introduction to the role and responsibilities of a team leader.
ILM Level 3 qualifications in Leadership and Management are ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing their abilities.
This Qualification is designed for new and aspiring middle managers. It will help managers to really get to grips with their role, gain comprehensive business knowledge, and develop the technical skills they need to lead effectively.
The ILM level 5 qualifications in Management have been designed for middle managers, developing a range of key skills from understanding of the role (in the Award) through to critical thinking (in the Diploma).
The ILM Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management has been specially designed for middle managers with the aim of giving participants an opportunity to develop core competencies at this level: for example, encouraging innovation and managing the business process.
The ILM Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Management has been specially designed for senior managers with a high degree of autonomy for deploying resources and achieving strategic goals. It aims to give participants an opportunity to develop their professional management skills, knowledge and understanding
