The Housing Apprenticeship standards

 

One of the leading providers nationally, Dutton Fisher Associates have gained considerable experience in delivering the Housing Apprenticeship standards either as in-house programmes for employers or as open regional courses. We manage training programmes for employers on a national, regional or local basis.

Designed by the sector, for the sector, the Housing standards are available at three levels:

• Housing/ Property Management Assistant (Level 2)
• Housing/ Property Management (Level 3)
• Senior Housing/ Property Management (Level 4)

 

The formative assessment element of Housing apprenticeships includes:

• A Chartered Institute of Housing Certificate in Housing at either level 2, 3, 4, or a Level 5 Diploma (not mandatory)
• Functional skills in Maths and English (where required)
• A portfolio of work: reflection on skills and behaviours
• Case Study / Project work

 

The summative assessment is through End Point Assessment

• Housing/Property Management Assistant

  The Housing/Property management Assistant role is an entry level role. It is customer facing and primarily responsible for the administrative work needed to support the creation and sustainment of successful tenancies and leaseholds in both social and private housing sectors

  The housing/property management occupation is customer facing and primarily responsible for the creation and sustainment of successful tenancies in the private and social rented housing sectors

• Senior Housing/Property Management

  The senior housing / property management occupation in both social / private housing sectors is responsible for the management and delivery of housing / property related services within their business/service area(s). The role involves the management of resources with delegated authority to deliver the business objectives

• Property Management: Private Sector

  The Apprenticeship standards considered above are also designed to the needs of the private rented/ leasehold sectors. They are therefore suitable for apprentices and staff in these sectors including;  Lettings Negotiators, Leasehold Management Officers, and Property Manager.
