Dutton Fisher supports Leeds Phoenix Life Saving Team

Dutton Fisher Associates Ltd are delighted to have supported the Leeds Phoenix Life Saving team in their efforts in the The Lifesaving World Championships - Rescue 2010 in Egypt. The young team, led by Coach and Captain Matt Jagger spent 10 days in the coastal town of Alexandria joining 3000 athletes competing in a number of pool and beach events. It is a fantastic achievement for the team to qualify and an honour for DFA to sponsor the team through the supply of the team t-shirts. Even though the team did not come back with any medals they all competed well and achieved new personal best times for all their races. Coach Matt Jagger said
"this trip was once in a life time for everyone and has been such an experience, of course we had our ups and downs but we went as a strong team and have come back as an even more stronger team. We're just looking forward to competing in Australia in 2012 for the next rescue world championships"

DFA will again be proud to support the team in this next challenge!

NEW CIH Level 2 and Level 3 Housing Practice Certificates

The NEW Level 2 Housing Practice Certificate gives the introductory skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work effectively in the housing sector. This qualification has been designed to meet the learning needs of a wide range of people and is a key qualification for those considering a career in housing.

What our students think:

"One of the best courses I have been on, really interesting"

"I found it helpful, especially being new into Social Housing. It gave me a more structured understanding of the various types of properties and organisations available in the private sector and local authority."

The CIH Level 3 Award in Housing/Housing Practice Certificate is a vocationally related qualification for the housing sector and is designed to develop the key skills and knowledge necessary to participate in housing practice. It is aimed at frontline workers who want to develop their skills in a specialist area of housing.

What the Chartered Institute of Housing thinks:

"The programme is very well organised with all materials readily available and clearly produced. There is clearly a good rapport between tutors and students, and also between the tutors and the housing organisation."

"Dutton Fisher's assessment is very good and consistent.  Students are given very good and detailed formative feedback, and good guidance about how their work could be improved."

More information on the Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates can be found in the Qualifications section.
