Roz Cowell

Roz has a background in customer service, call handling, training, IT, administration, warehousing and management. She moved into Training and Development, first as a Trainer and then as an NVQ Assessor. Having worked in a variety of areas, including private sector, IT and Housing Roz is now qualified to assesses and internally verify NVQs in the following areas:

Assessor Awards, Business & Administration, Contact Centre, Customer Service, Direct Training & Support, ITQ, Team Leading.


Janet Rumsey

 Janet began her career in IT development and worked within the financial sector as a Systems Analyst. She has extensive experience of Team Leading, Project Management and training. More recently she has worked in a learning environment providing support and training sessions.

Janet successfully completed the City and Guilds Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners before taking her EDEXCEL A1 Assessor award. She is qualified to assess NVQ's in Customer Service and Team Leading and has worked in a variety of areas within the private sector and in housing.

 

Mike Schirwing

Mike SchirwingMike is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing with over 30 years experience of working in the social housing sector and he has been a freelance social housing consultant since 1998.

He holds a City & Guilds Teachers' certificate in further and adult education and provides a range of training to housing management staff and tenants on best practice in housing management, asset management, Lean system reviews, performance management and value for money. Mike holds the Professional Qualification of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has lectured on CIH Housing courses at Salford University College and a Housing Degree course at Bradford University. He is currently studying for an international qualification in Executive Coaching and Mentoring through the British School of Coaching (ILM Level 7).


Judith Sunderland

Judith SunderlandJudith is an experienced trainer with considerable experience within the professional sectors.  After leaving University she started her management career in the National Health Service, where she acquired expertise in change management, risk assessment, training, commissioning of new projects and developing, negotiating and implementing new policies and procedures.  Judith is an Associate of the Institute of Health Service Managers.

After 13 years she left her Chief Executive position within the National Health Service to run her own business and has been a consultant and trainer for many years.  She has designed and delivered a wide range of practice management courses to the professional sectors, specialising in personal effectiveness, communication skills, stress management, assertiveness skills, time management, presentation techniques, coaching and training potential trainers. 

Judith believes that for learning to be effective it need to be fun. Whilst professional and challenging her training sessions are relaxed, participative, user-friendly and enjoyable.


Sue Warren

Sue started her career in housing in 1990 as a front line customer adviser. Since then Sue has successfully worked her way up through various operational and strategic housing management roles with progression to Head of Performance and Improvement in April 2007, a role that included responsibility for staff Learning & Development.

In 2003 after qualifying as a European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) assessor, Sue was appointed as the strategic lead within her company for tackling Financial Exclusion within the communities managed. Sue has experienced TUPE transfer, company mergers, numerous restructures, four 4 Audit Commission inspections and a mock inspection from the Housing Quality network.

Through tough economic times as Head of Performance and Improvement Sue has demonstrated that she can manage change and improve company performance through effectively delivering the right, training and streamlining processes.

With over 25 years experience with working with people Sue has a good understanding of what motivates people towards success. Sue has designed and delivered training programmes relating to Financial Inclusion and income management and has most recently become an NVQ assessor building on her in depth knowledge of the housing sector, customer insight and passing this information on to clients.
